About Us

Alex, Duncan, Zack and Harri bought Westbeach in June 2007.  We are old uni friends who met at Southampton Institute thanks to the surf club.  Duncan and Zack live locally and Alex and Harri are weekend visitors from Bristol.  After many years of enjoying the delights of the North Devon coast and being frequent patriots at Westbeach the opportunity came up to get more involved in the business.

Jamie Allan has come on board as our Chef.  His flair for food and passion for quality ingredients has already got us mentioned in the BBC Good Food Guide July 2007.

Backed up by a strong team out the front and in the kitchen, Westbeach has a really friendly atmosphere thanks to the attitude of the staff.  It’s clear to see they enjoy interacting with our customers and as a result we are regularly rewarded with repeat business.
